Hedie passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service on June 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Springstein Cemetery.

At the recent 60th year Alumnae Dinner almost everyone asked "Where's Hedie?" we were the largest group of attendee's that night of June 4th. And the next day at the luncheon, same thing again. I hope she heard that one of the classmates had gone looking for her. Although I did not know her personally through all these years, I kept track of her through the newsletter. I could not believe what she did with her life. She was doing something ALL her life and helping others - she lived Community - I have always admired her search for knowledge, her courage, strength, persistence in whatever she did - work or travel.
